| WASHINGTON, November 25, 2003—The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board:
CREDIT AMOUNT: IDA-US$35 million
TERMS: Grace period = 10 years; Maturity = 40 years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will help advance market reforms; improve social services through better provision of heating in schools and hospitals; and ensure a more reliable electricity supply. The project’s two major components are to improve power system infrastructure and enhance heat supply and consumption.
